I shot these pictures one night after I had finished up a meeting at a little bistro I like to go to.  As I was walking back to my car I saw this painted advertisement on the side of a building.  It reminded me of how simple and yet artistic things used to be, and how they can still influence us in ways we normally don't realize.  There are few things that are still pure from decades past and these buildings paintings are one of them.

I had just picked up the new Essie "butter please" nail polish the day before and was taking it on a test run, when I decided why not completely indulge my outfit into a sense of color manifestation.  The idea was to not only compliment the blues with subtle neutrals but to also showcase the blues with bold contrasts.  For my accessories I decided to go with a galvanized effect, I felt it tied in the blues and blacks really well.  There is nothing better than feeling inspired by your outfit.
