Falling for fall

Fall brings out the best in all of us.  The colors of the leafs and the atmosphere just bring about reminders of how the changing of seasons can reflect in your personality and style.  As the seasons change we tend to find ourselves changing and evolving into the next season of our lives.  For me it's all about the details for fall, from the chains on this cute blouse to the gold detailing on my boots.  One of my favorite parts about fall is the changing color of the leaves, it is so beautiful and inspiring to watch.  My other favorite part is getting to jump in the piles of leaves towards the end of fall.  I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!

The other week I was vintage shopping and found this AWESOME Stobbs Castle of Scotland wool sweater.  I immediately fell in love, not only because of the color (it will go with almost everything) but because of the details.  You can definitely tell that time went into making this fabulous sweater.  And my oh my is it warm.  The sleeves are a little longer (which I love), and the construction is amazing!

Since the seasons are changing my wardrobe has definitely started reflecting that.  As most people associate fall with layering I have taken on that same mentality, only in a new way.  I love the layering concept, especially when it comes to pairing items together that you would never think of.  In this case I paired my new sweater with one of my go to Max Studio dresses.  Overall I really love this idea, and most likely with be using it more often.

Black, White, and Spiked

While I was on vacation in Los Angeles in August, I picked up these AMAZING Burberry Prorsum rain boots.  I have been waiting since then for a little bit of rain to come my way so that I could break them in!  Needless to say, my wish was granted.  The other day it rained and I felt like a giddy child getting to put on my rain boots for the first time.  

I decided to stick with a simple color palette and accessorize with studs to match the aesthetic of the boots.  By far my favorite rain boot outfit I have EVER worn!
