LBD the Glamistree way

 Today is the fifth and FINAL day of the week of dresses project we put together!  As I mentioned yesterday I have save the dressiest of them all for last!  And I can't think of anything that's dressier than a LBD (Little Black Dress).  I am personally a HUGE fan of keeping a look simple and classic, and the LBD epitomizes that concept.  Glamistree has a few different LBD's that they have to offer on their website, however, this one was my favorite!  The box pleats on the front along with the way the skirt flows definitely sold it for me.  I chose to pair it with a simple pair of strappy black heels and gold detailed jewelry.  Overall this ended up being one of my favorite outfits from our week of dresses!

Mint with Snake

It has been such an exciting week so far getting to share all of these beautiful dresses with you!  And with it being the last two days I've saved the dressiest for last!  This mint color has always been a favorite of mine.  The bead detailing on the hem is absolutely gorgeous and the neckline is fabulous and very feminine.  One of the things I really loved about the back of this dress is the tie closure, it showcased my tattoos perfectly.  I decided to pair it with complimenting accessories that would enhance the overall look of the dress.  The snakeskin heels went along so effortlessly with this look and the ring I got from BCBG Max Azria a few years ago matched the dress perfectly!

Sunset prints

Good afternoon everyone!  I hope you are all having a great week so far!   This week has been super busy.  I'm in the process of trying to plan my summer trips and working on some special projects that are near and dear to my heart.  I cant wait to share them with you throughout the summer months and show you a different creative side to me.

This dress is one of my favorites and I am so excited to share it with you!  Normally I am not a big over-sized print kind of girl, but for some reason this one just jumped out at me.  Between the colors and the fact that it has palm trees all over it (always reminds me of California) its my idea dress for a casual evening out.  One of the things I love most is that because it is a statement dress, the accessories needed to accent it are minimal.  I chose to go with gold accents and black heels to compliment not only the print the metal on the zipper as well.

Cream Lace

As I mentioned yesterday, all this week I will be featuring different dresses I have picked out from the Glamistree website!  I am so excited that this new concept of online shopping has been created!  Not all of us like to make a purchase without knowing if it will fit us or not.  The idea that you can try it on and THEN decide is the icing on the cake for me!

For today's dress I chose a beautiful cream lace dress.  When I first saw it on the website it nearly took my breath away!  The detailing in the dress is absolutely exquisite, and the fact that its a neutral color was just an added bonus!  I chose to pair it with neutral shoes and rose gold accents with the jewelry.  I liked the idea of keeping it very pure!  I hope you all get a chance to head on over to their website and see all of the beautiful dresses they have right now!

Denim Craze

I hope everyone is having an amazing Memorial Day Weekend!  I had the complete pleasure of spending the weekend with my family and going out of town with them to a really cool flea market yesterday!  It was so much fun to see all of the really cool things that people bring to sell... I made out with a really cool old "the New Yorker" coffee table book with all of the illustrations from when they first started up until 2004 when the book was published.  Needless to say I felt like I scored the best item there!
