Cotton Candy

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  Here it is as promised!  Look number THREE from our Carnival photo shoot the other week!  For this look I was inspired by the idea of indulging in my sweet tooth side aka Cotton Candy!  Ever since I was a little kid I have always loved cotton candy (minus the sticky part).  It always intrigued me how it could be so big and fluffy but dissolve so quickly, and I always LOVED the colors of the cotton candy, so inspiring!

I decided to indulge in some more of those carnival games that everyone loves and has fun with.  The dart game is easily one of my favorites, probably because it's hard to lose at! But none the less still a favorite of mine.  I even did it left handed and still hit all three of my balloons, which is amazing considering I am right handed!  I chose mardi-gras necklaces as my prize (I felt it was the most ME out of the prizes), and ended up giving them to some girls that were at the carnival, they looked like they were having so much fun and it made me happy to see them having fun!

Overall I would say my trip to the carnival was a success, I had a blast reliving childhood memories, and managed to get some fun pictures in the process!  Check back tomorrow for the last look we shot while at the carnival!

Here is the second look we shot from our time spent at the Carnival the other week!  We had such a blast and I am so excited I get to share our experience with all of you!  I decided to continue the "business woman on her lunch" look, I just loved the idea of a getaway on your lunch break to something that is able to take you to a place of escapism.  

All of the games at the carnival are all full of such vibrant colors, and each have such an inspirational look to them, you can't help but be hypnotized!  Although I will admit I felt a little out of place being the only adult playing the games, I still had a blast, and ended up giving my prizes to little kids passing by at the carnival!  I used the bright lights as an inspiration for this look as to compliment my surroundings!

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend spending time with their families and friends!  I don't know about you guys but I love holidays, not only for the reason of getting together with my family but it's also just another reason to get all dressed up!

I wanted to share this series of pictures we took a few weeks ago with you... we did a total of four different looks so for the rest of the week I will be sharing a new look each day with you!  As you can tell the theme was at the carnival.  Every year the carnival comes to town and the lights and rides are always so intriguing, so I decided to partake in the fun this year!  I opted for a more "business woman on her lunch" look for this outfit, and the star shaped necklace seemed to fit perfectly with the ride titled Starship!

Sunday Attire

Last Sunday was definitely one of those days where I woke up feeling like getting all dolled up for the day ahead of me.  Sunday was filled with my personal favorite thing to do every Sunday morning... Grab Starbucks with my brother and then spend quality time with the one who is most important to me! 

 I absolutely love dresses, they are so easy to move in and make for the perfect busy day outfit!  Being that Spring is here and the weather is beautiful out I love the fact that I can now wear open toed sandals every single day!  Creating a look that is spring appropriate for not only the weather but the season is something that is actually pretty easy to accomplish...  

Most people think that because Spring traditionally means florals and pastels: that is what you outfits should consist of.  Well I'm here to tell you that isn't the case!  You can wear any color and almost anything in your wardrobe (except probably fur, although I have been known to wear fur all year round) anytime of the year!  If you have ever seen the runway shows for the spring collections, they always include a wide range of colors, not just pastels and florals... And how cool is it that we have now transitioned into a time where your clothes can now last you all year round.  AND you no longer have to wait six months to wear your favorite dress because it's a "summer only" outfit!

So many great and amazing things can come from an all year round wardrobe... My challenge to you, is to do this with your own wardrobe and watch your outfit potentials grow exponentially!!!  I hope you all have an amazing weekend!
