Starbucks Day

( Photos by Shawn Kruse )

( Alternative Apparel hoodie, BCBG blouse, Paige trousers, Dolce Vita heels, BCBG jewelry, Coach sunglasses, and Nine West handbag )

Very rarely do I get the opportunity to just take my morning slow, and enjoy working at a cute little cafe or coffee shop.  Usually my days are so busy from the time I get up that it usually consists of grabbing coffee on the go, and working from wherever there is a plug in throughout the day.  Being that I am originally from the Northwest my first choice is always a Starbucks.  The music is always great, there is always friendly people around, and not to mention the coffee tastes GREAT!  The days where I am able to enjoy my morning are usually my favorite.  I find that I tend to be way more productive when I'm trying to multi-task.  Although as you can see I still tend to multi-task even when I'm sitting still.

Dancing in the midst of trees

( Photos by Adam Kellett )

( Stem blouse, and unknown skirt )

There are times when I get spontaneous and random urges to just dance.  I can honestly say that more often than not I am dancing up a storm, it's just built into my DNA.  I love music because it involves so many emotions, and can energize you in about 2.2 seconds.  When we took these pics we were walking through an area with all of these characteristic and inspiring trees and listening to music.  The dub step music we were listening to that day just fueled me with excitement, and next thing I knew I was dancing like a crazy person! I dedicate this post to all of my fellow dancing fashionistas!

garden lady

( Photos by Adam Kellett )

( American Eagle blouse, XOXO trousers, and vintage belt )

Every girl I have ever known, no matter what the age, has always loved flowers.  They are so pretty and unique in their own way.  Flowers are something that can brighten your day instantly.  Everytime I see flowers I am instantly lifted to a place of complete appreciation for one of the simplest things, mother nature.  I stumbled upon this beautiful rose garden one day and couldn't help but think of the endless possibilities.  I chose to keep my look simple for the sheer fact that there was so much color all around me that I liked the idea of an all monochromatic look.

Birds Point of View

( Photos by Marc Cabanig )

( BCBG tank, Billabong bikini bottom, American Eagle shorts, handmade feather leg detail, and Sam Edelman shoes )

The first time I met Marc he was doing a photo shoot with someone on the sidewalk in downtown LA.  They were both laughing and having such a great time, it made me so curious.  As I passed by, Marc asked if I would want to do a photo shoot with him sometime.  Being the spontaneous, outgoing, and opportunistic person I am, of course I said yes!  A few weeks later we put together some ideas, and came up with the idea to do something really different and out there.  This is what we came up with.  A bright and colorful way of showing a "birds point of view"  I hope you all enjoy these pictures as much as we did!

Damsel in distress

( Photos by Adam Kellett )

( Vintage lace over dress, BCBG skirt, unknown bandeau, BCBG rings,  necklace, and Report Heels )

I have always loved the photo shoots that seem semi unrealistic for real life.  There's just something about wearing an outfit that would never work in reality for where you are.  For this occasion it turned out to be a very feminine outfit along a path of trees and bushes.  While we were shooting this, people were passing us by wearing their workout attire, and casual clothes.  Lets just say we got MORE than a few strange looks.  Regardless of the looks and the many unstable moments I had during this photo shoot.  The pictures turned out amazing.
