There is nothing better than being able to hangout and relax in your own backyard! In fact it's one of my favorite parts about the summer! It's also another excuse to dress more casual than usual! For different people that means different things... In my case it means wearing wedges and a cute dress.
I love basic shift dresses, you can dress them up or down and the silhouette never goes out of style. And if you pick one in a basic color with minimal or no print your chances of being able to use it all year round greatly increase. In the summertime dresses tend to be my go to, they're easy to throw on and easy to accessorize. Not to mention when it's hot out they help keep you cool! For me personally I like to wear wedges when I got to bbq's or hangout with the fam... Mainly because heels and grass DO NOT mix! So if I were to give you one piece of advice it would be to invest in a cute pair of wedges in a neutral color you could wear with a variety of outfits for this summer!
